Celebrating the Centenary of WB Yeats’ Nobel Prize
POETRY THEN, NOW & IN THE FUTURE

Yeats Society Sligo is delighted to host My Numberless Dreams… My Passionate Rhyme, a three-day poetry event taking place in Sligo between November 30th and December 2nd.
The event is part of a wider programme, designed by Yeats Society Sligo, in partnership with other organisations and institutions to mark the Centenary of the award to WB Yeats of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1923.
This programme, honouring the poet, is the closing event of the Official Decade of Centenaries, funded and organised by Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht and Media, on behalf of the Government of Ireland.
Numberless Dreams…..Passionate Rhyme concentrates on Poetry in Ireland, Then, Now and in the Future. The event includes readings from Paul Muldoon, Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, music with No Crows, talks by Theo Dorgan, Dan Mulhall and a panel discussion on poetry hosted by distinguished contemporary poets and chaired by Jessica Traynor. Members of the public will gather to read 100 of Yeats poems.
